of their resources, the injustice of government created ghettos and a culture that tells children they need to flee their homes and families in order to be successful, the injustice of police that shoot first then vilify the dead victim, the injustice of segregated.....
schools that can’t get the funding they need to set their students up for success, the injustice of the looting of access to healthcare for the most marginalized in our society, the looting of stability for our homeless friends who are chased out......
from any place they get comfortable. When you see all of that daily. It’s hard to care much about insured TVs. I take no pleasure in seeing a Wal-Mart cleaned out. But I don’t care much.....
All that stuff will be replaced and the Cash Advance place will still be here charging over 400% interest to the most desperate people, and most folks won’t bat an eye. The schools in the hood will still look very different than the schools in the suburbs.
