I feel like the title of “healer” is one your community should give to you.
Especially since being a healer is a call to do communal work, your community should be the ones to say if you’re actually healing folk or naw.
Your community determining you as a healer comes AFTER seeing your work. IMO it shouldn’t be a self declared title. Being a healer should be a title you accept from your community.
And I say accept because it should be something both sides want. Not one person trying to impose themselves as a healer, or a community trying to burden someone with that title. BOTH sides need to say yes after healing ability and work has been recognized by the community.
