if ur white there’s a 80% chance ur “intelligence” is mostly reliant on the privileges u experienced in the school system

im not “smart” i had the privillage to go to a grammar school, if I’d been raised in a poorer area w less school funding u probably wouldn’t think that. most whites r born into areas w more school funding. everything is laid on a platter for us from day1.

(If ur white) think abt how that impacts black kids self esteem. how black kids grow up feeling/hearing they may be less intelligent than their white peers when the only difference is schooling. how this might impact them going into adulthood. exams, interviews, applications.
