Since I’m seeing people discuss Sting being in the same tier as Taker, the answer is no. It isn’t Sting’s fault though. No top star has ever been less appreciated and more taken for granted than Sting was in WCW. Taker is how Sting should’ve been treated but WCW. They were fools.

I think the most telling part is when you hear Vince talk about Taker compared to Bischoff talking about Sting. Vince reveres Taker and views him as a titan. Bischoff still bitches that Sting didn’t have a tan in 1997.

During Sting’s all too brief WWE run he was treated as a bigger deal and more legendary than he ever was in WCW aside from maybe 1997. For all the shit WWE gets about burying WCW, Vince sure does treat their stars and legends like him and Flair with more respect than WCW ever did
