Sticking on the theme of equity, it took months for the Tenderloin, a neighborhood with high density, little access to green space and many residents who are children, seniors, immigrants and/or mobility impaired, to get anything resembling a Slow Street: https://sfex.news/3euQBe6
Supes have gotten involved, and they're urging the @sfmta_muni to use "every available tool" to slow cars down and protect pedestrians, cyclists and other travelers: https://sfex.news/2Ip3EDL
