Two of my favourite albums and undoubtedly Denzelâs best two albums. I wanted to compare production, features and tracks as Iâve had a hard time picking one album over the other in recent time.

Both melodic songs. Despite having different messages, Black Balloons evokes an optimistic tone even with its dark lyrics contrastingly This Life employs pessimistic subject matter with a happy vibe

Both very introspective songs with one reviewing the rap game and the other questioning the prejudice of the police towards young successful black men

Feel good songs, Cash Maniac employing a braggadocios vibe whereas Good Night evokes a sense of togetherness and optimism.
