Indigenous artists! Parents too!

The youngest has watched me create art for sale for some time now. He's recently gotten into resin art and sold a piece to a friend. Since he's gotten his paint pens, he's been creating paintings that he wants to sell. The conundrum:
I've shared before that the kids are not mine biologically. I've never shared their names for privacy and protection. The youngest has use of only his left hand when he was originally right-handed, is autistic, and has a traumatic brain injury.
There are things that I see in his work that fascinates and amazes me. It's very rare that I part with any of their art created in school, or especially those that they create at home.

I also realize I'm probably biased, lol. But still. He wants to share his work and contribute.
I want him to create art for art, not for sale. I've told him about times that I create something hoping to sell it and it doesn't sell. But when I create things that I love and could see keeping, other people love those things too and buy my art. Loving one's work is important.
Yesterday, he finished a piece and I looked at it and I could already see it on the wall. He said he wanted to put it up for sale. My considerations are: do I let him sell under his real name instead of Leonardo? Signing his work would be important, imo. I'm leaning toward, yes.
The second is, what would be a good price point for his work? I can share images with people who would be interested in helping make a determination of a good starting price.

Basically, he keeps what he sells minus shipping, usually $4-6 per package, Canada is $11.
A consideration that I struggle with the most: will people see his art as something beautiful because it's beautiful and not as a 'good effort from someone with challenges'. Does that make sense? We don't mind disclosing his disability, but not make that the focus, you know?
Any other thoughts, opinions, or advice, would be welcome.

He's kind of excited to be creating, which I will always encourage. I'll add a couple of photos of his previous work for consideration as well. Pilamayaye.
