What I really liked is that throughout the process they worked with the Eurotunnel, ferry operators and ports to understand the current process and use the waiting time that's already there to minimise the impact on lead times and "anticipate" formalities.

The logic here is similar to what we have under GVMS. The difference being their systems are available, companies can log in and prepare.

So explaining the conversations that need to take place between al the parties involved is helpful. Guidance is available on the website. Very clear - y recommended to companies out there - UK process will roughly follow the same pattern.
