At lunch breaks at a school I once attended, Arabs and Jews would loudly argue with each other, as would Armenians and Turks. But after they got it all out of their system, they would amiably drift together over to the basketball courts and play ball.

That subreddit is the beautiful, lively, and messy world we used to live in and that I already miss terribly.
The thing that separated the world of my former school and the PC world we're forced to live in now is that in my school the teachers didn't intervene to stop the "hate." They actually encouraged those kinds of heated conversations, and we all learned a lot from them.
