Vickie Johnson was the head coach of the 2017 Stars featuring Moriah Jefferson and Isabelle Harrison, now both with the Wings. https://twitter.com/ChantelJennings/status/1334556917083959296
She also coached notable UFA Kayla McBride that year.
From the Review Journal in 2018:
"She still works with the guards, and guard Kayla McBride said her relationship with Johnson has been positive since she came into the league in 2014.
'Everything she taught me, I still carry with me now,' said McBride." https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/basketball/aces-wnba/former-stars-head-coach-relishes-assistants-role-with-aces/

I have some uneasy feelings about just how successful any coach can be with the Wings as currently organized, but that aside I love a second chance -- perhaps even a first real chance -- for Vickie Johnson. We don't see that a lot for Black women in head coaching positions.
