Peeps - you don't need a MacBook Pro to hack.

All you really need is a light laptop that can run Linux or a cheap Macbook and then just abuse the shit out of the cloud.

It's seriously the way.

I built all of 0x00sec on a HQ Compaq 2710p, with a broken screen.

And then I built all of axiom on a MacBook Air and a $5 a month Digitalocean droplet.

This box has a 1.6GHz Dual Core Processor. I never even use all the ram.

There are wayyy more laptops with the same specs (or more) for ~ $500.

Go refurbished or second hand if you really are in a pickle. Lenovo x220's that are battered go for $200.

Ebay has a bunch without ram or HDD's

If you're *really* on a budget, use an android phone!

I once ran a phishing test from my Android phone over JuiceSSH to a droplet. Via tmux.

You do *not* need fancy hardware to succeed :) Just a reminder. I still like fancy hardware, but if you're starting out. You can do.

To clarify - I really like MacOS and I love Macs. I'm writing this tweet right now on one.

But the prevailing point is that it's a luxury for most, and should be considered one. If you can afford it and want one - good for you :) But it isn't *required* to hack.
