Due to Puff's light weight, Falco's throws are accelerated and become very difficult to react to. This allows him to actively 50/50 with each grab.

There's not much time to react to Falco's Throws vs Puff. The values below are the frame on which DI is decided.

Fthrow: f9
Bthrow: f5, f16 (initial throw, lasers)
Upthrow: f4

These are fast enough and not so distinct that mid-matchโ€” Puff will often be forced to guess.

๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐Ÿฌ-๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿต%, Falco should be switching between Fthrow and Bthrow because there's little outplay potential & both throws yield a punish on ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ต ๐——๐—œ ๐—œ๐—ป ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ก๐—ผ ๐——๐—œ.

This forces Puff to actively pick the direction in which they think Falco will throw them.

Fthrow (no DI/DI In):
0-10%: SH Nair / Dash JI (JC) Grab
11-23%: SH Nair
24-29%: SH Dair (knockdown)
30-39%: SH Nair / SH Dair

Bthrow (no DI/DI In):
0-29%: SH Nair
30-39%: SH Nair/SH Dair

We stop using Fthrow ~40% because no DI stops confirming.

To replace Fthrow, Falco can use Upthrowโ€”it's not as bad as you might think.

Puff's trajectory is deterministic and even if they're hit by the lasers, they will only be launched backwards if they SDI the 2nd laser behind.

Bthrow:
- Falco should now (dash) FH for N/B/D-Air.

Upthrow:
- With DI behind or no DI, Puff will be hit by 2-3 lasers and then launched forward.
- DI Forward avoids lasers, but is still punishable.

Falco can react to the DI and (dash) FH accordingly.

Bthrow will cover no/forward DI and Fthrow will cover DI behind.

Bthrow works the same way, but if Puff DI's Upthrow, they won't be hit by any of the lasers.

Falco can dash FH-DJ in their direction and follow with an Upair. This KO's later in this percent window!

When Falco Dthrow's Puff, Puff can still tech like any other characterโ€”however, when they don't tech, they hover in the air and can act very quickly.

Dthrow can be used to surprise Puff and get them to miss the tech. If they do, Falco can immediately Ftilt/Upsmash!
