the way some folks "complaints" about the SPN finale make it seem like they are watching children's programing. "We need to resolve mental health issues in characters, we need everyone to be happy", "We need to send a positive messages for people". WHY?
Because YOUR identity hinges on this single TV show? Because you've invested so much into a TV show you feel it needs to represent a pillar of moral purity when the original ending had a main character die rotting in hell? Who told you this was a happy show lol
How are these people going to cope when they watch...any show on HBO, and their main characters don't end up living a clean, pure, conflict free lifestyle at the end?
TV shows don't owe you life lessons, or a healthy resolution to anything. TV shows don't exist to educate you/ give you a serotonin dump about shit you need to go to therapy for.
ESPECIALLY this is comedic when its like "its bad that someone with mental health issues died at the end. THIS IS BASICALLY A DESCRIPTION OF EVERY CHARACTER WHO DIES IN A DRAMA you mentally regressed weirdo.
You could be saying "wait this is mean". No dawg. I have mental health issues. Everyone on this damn website does. Some of yall need to look inward about how you externalize that shit because blaming TV show writers for YOUR problems is like...not healthy.
Learn the difference between "This does not cater to what I want" and "This is bad and evil". I promise your whole damn life will start to get easier.
As a side note this doesn’t diminish the shows absolute shit tier treatment of women and people and of color specifically, but y’all had 15 fucking years to make wife spread campaign noise about that and didn’t bother. Separate issue.
