Just a random thought...

Why write an article for someone else on their website? Just for them to tweet it out where maybe someone will click on the link and read

Even if they like it are they going to follow your work? Probably not
What about condensing that article and tweeting it out?

IMO a really good thread will get way more traction than a good article. This won’t always be the case, but for a lot of people who are starting out it may work better for them.
If your work is good you will get noticed either way but if you post your own work on Twitter from your own account

People can engage with the content right there, ask questions, follow YOU, and others who like it can share it right away rather than just sharing a link
People may scroll past it either way which of course is true. When I see well crafted information in a tweet I will stop and read it. A link to an article it’s rare if I even catch the headline. Just some food for thought
This isn’t a new idea either, I’ve seen it done by many people to help spread their work and get their name out there. For anyone who is struggling to make their mark. This could be a strategy that is alternative to simply writing because you don’t know another way
