This is neither an insult nor a compliment. Men have created incredible, unspeakable beauty, and also massive cruelties beyond comprehension.

It's not overbroad to say that women believe nothing that a man didn't put there.
It's not kind or fair, but it's true. It's dangerous for women, they sense this.

Egalitarianism (a man's idea, like all ideas) gave men the opportunity to shed even more of this responsibility. Women were asking for it, and unscrupulous, soft men insisted they could wield it. Devilish men caved in to a desire for corruption.
