I remember covering the 2018 AAC title game after Milton's injury. UCF passed out leis to everyone to support Milton, but so many fans also brought their own. That community came together.

In 2019, I wrote about other players who suffered the same injury. One HS player had his leg amputated. He talked to KZ. Returning to play seemed almost impossible.

Nebraska would seem like a landing spot for Milton because of Scott Frost, but it's clear the most important key is playing time. And we haven't seen him in a game so it's hard to evaluate. I wouldn't rule anything out yet.
