THREAD: There's some testimony you won't hear on S.B. 27, the shameful, unconstitutional abortion restriction before the Ohio House today.

You won't hear it because the Republican majority won't allow virtual testimony, despite the worst pandemic in a century.

Here it is:

From @PPAOLauren: "...Senate Bill 27 creates significant logistical hurdles for clinics. And, by doing so, Senate Bill 27 will make access to abortion more difficult for patients who are trying to access needed health care—which is precisely the goal of this bill."

From @CeoGreaterOhio: "This Bill seriously threatens the patient’s privacy and confidentiality. The state would have to issue death certificates for every abortion, regardless of the patient’s wishes or how early in the pregnancy the abortion occurs."

session... It wouldn’t be a lame duck legislative
session in Ohio without extremist politicians prioritizing their misguided, anti-abortion agenda."

These aren't the only voices not being heard. Studies have repeatedly shown that the majority of Ohioans support access to safe, legal abortion. We won't stop fighting to make sure their voices are heard.
