I’ve been thinking about God, creation, life, death, the afterlife and religion. This thread is going to address some of the things on my mind.
If we’re being honest, there’s no way a person who’s either a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Traditionalist(African religion) or belong to any religion aside Christianity will make it to the Heaven described in the Bible. The belief in any other version of Jesus makes you disqualified.
Also, there’s no way any one from any religion aside Islam can ever make it to the Paradise(Jannah) described in the the Holy Quran. It’s not possible to go there if you’re not praying to Allah and obeying Allah’s rules according to the Holy Quran. Everyone else is disqualified
Muslims do believe that on the Day of Judgment, Allah will resurrect every dead person and they’ll be judged. Those who died believing that "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger."," will be rewarded a beautiful eternity but those who didn’t, will go to Hell
Both Christians and Muslims believe their God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob but they’re not the same. The source is what differs. The Bible’s picture of “God” is different from the Quran. Christians and Muslims are like step brothers when you at it.
Hinduism crossed my mind obviously. It is one of the oldest religions in the world. Dates back to 4000 years. There are 33 million gods. I mean how do you even keep up with 33 million gods? That’s 33 million names and 33 million ways. That’s hard. They believe they have the Truth
Hinduism believes in reincarnation. Basically when you die, you’ll be sent to earth based on your karma. This cycle will repeat itself till you reach Moksha(breaks the cycle of death and birth) so you finally go to heaven. This can be achieved through good deeds from life to life
And then Judaism. Christianity was born out of Judaism. Jews don’t really believe if there’s an afterlife because the Torah doesn’t mention it. There are Jews who believe in the concept of “Heaven” but they don’t believe in Hell.
According to the Jews, when the Messiah arrives, he’s going to wake up the good dead people leaving the bad dead people. The good dead people will be resurrected to live on “Paradise Earth”. A perfect version of Earth bruh
There are so many other religions with different phone numbers to call God. Confucianism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Sikhism, Taoism, Bahá'í, Shinto, Jainism, others all have their ways to commune with God.
Why are there so many gods with so many promises? How do you even know where to go or who to listen to? Did you choose which God to worship because of where you were born? What if you’re wrong? How can you be 100% sure?
Why is there one way? This question is very important because I know God is omniscient(all knowing). This means God knows the past, present and future. This includes knowing all the people who’ll die in the wrong religion. Why create them then? Why is there confusion about God?
