Lesbians do NOT need a connection to 'womanhood'. You're not only talking over so many n.b/genderfluid lesbians, you're erasing them from history in an attempt to make it "women only", thats literal TERF rhetoric. It's a rich and diverse community, stop gatekeeping ffs.
Not even in the past has the community been "women only", it's always acknowledged the diversity of gender and sexuality and how the lot can mingle. There've always been gatekeepers wanting it to mean women only though, so congrats on being a modern day political lesbian I guess
I know plenty of lesbians with absolutely no connection to womanhood. Irl and on here. Irl these are lesbian elders, lesbians who've raised me. They have nothing in common with womanhood, theyll tell you that, and pride themselves instead on their lesbian identity and community.
Being the big joyful butches looking after people, that's them. Making sure you feel comfortable and safe.
