The Lebanese parliament should pass a bill decriminalising dealings with Israelis, for many reasons. (1) the Lebanese community and business people in the UAE have to adhere to non-discriminatory policies across the Emirates.
(2) international companies cannot create separate policies shielding Lebanese employees from disciplinary actions if they refuse to deal with an Israeli colleague, customer, service provider, etc...
(3) there are >100k Lebanese in the UAE that have families that they financially support back in Lebanon.
(4) Saudi could be next to normalise relations with Israel, and the Lebanese community in KSA is probably twice the size of that in the UAE.
(5) the Lebanese communities in the GCC will be under an immense pressure not knowing how to handle situations in which there are dealings with Israelis.
(6) the Lebanese political parties and their supporters (those that lived of corruption and caused the destruction of the state) should not be lecturing the Lebanese living abroad and in Lebanon on national interest, the interest of the public and the one of the future generation
