It is a bad sign that the Democrat who is losing in Iowa 2 by 6 votes has decided not to go to Court but instead to appeal to the House where Speaker Pelosi may be able to muscle a victory through partisan pressure. This resembles 1984 in Indiana.
In the Indiana Eighth Congressional District the local recount gave the Republican a 418 vote majority.The Democrats appealed to the House and the Democrats in the House simply stole the seat.They kept counting until the Democrat was ahead by four votes and then stopped counting
Both Republican members and staff on the Indiana recount task force were convinced the Democrats had simply stolen the seat. Republicans walked out when the Democrat was sworn in and it embittered Republicans for a decade.
