Having been involved in disclosures over past decade, it is clear that things are getting worse...not better. Making us more corrupt, especially in public bodies.
The private ones recognise the cost in money/reputation.
Processes are not fit for purpose without accountability.

Public bodies pay endless public money to legally fight being found out, but this usually wears down any who dare to speak up. It is all but accepted in Ireland that #Whistleblowers are now fools who care little for their careers,deserving all that is thrown their way.
Education,Health and the Industry of Poverty are infested with corruption constantly slipping into areas of criminality,but fewer & fewer are speaking out. Take the ETBs as an example, 5 have been highlighted to me for a number of years,they only exist since 2014. #edchatie
All checks/balances have failed. Huge legal bills exist but none at top layer are answerable yet, except the former CEO of KWETB (can't tag anymore

But who benefits from it taking so long to catch the crooks? The crooks themselves!
Only when there is true answerability for failures, will there be any standards. Not all fail,many do follow rules BUT once there remains that open gate we are in trouble.
