This is a greatest hits collection of what the head of Amnesty Ireland has been tweeting these last couple of weeks. He started off by stating his pride in signing THAT letter which goes against everything that amnesty is supposed to stand for (1)
The granddaughter of Amnesty founder Sean MacBride pulled him up over it. This was his response to her (2)
Iseult pointed out that what he had signed had a #ChillingEffect on freedom of speech. Here he is being a smart a*se with his use of the word chilling. Notice also the hypocrisy of this tweet given the nature of what he had proudly signed (3)
Not content with that, he ignored every woman that took him to task and then proceeded to block them for being *mean*..myself included. Here's an example of one interaction with a cervix haver. Not directly of course but via quote tweet (4)
And finally he goes after the newly formed @Ire_LGBAlliance with this tweet, finally showing all of his true colours (5)
This is the head of an alleged human rights organisation displaying nothing but contempt for women and their opinions. If you don't agree with him, he proudly wants you silenced. #ChillingEffect indeed. #wewillbeheard
