The exam proposals don't address the biggest fear I have- the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on pupils.

This is on top of the time missed last year. What people forget is that missing school is itself unequal - with some pupils and families more able to cope with periods of missed school than others.
Ministers have be adamant that exams must take place whatever the cost and tasked officials to come up with a way this could be done fairly whilst pupils have a vastly different experience.
They haven't been able to say how pupils with a different teaching experience can sit the same exam fairly so have just kicked it down the road by setting up an "expert group"
These plans could see a huge disadvantage gap and the most disadvantaged young people are likely to pay the price.
