Buying records is a privilege that a lot of people can't afford. Shaming people for using streaming platforms is boring and elitist.

I've been living of disability benefits most of my 20s, if I didn't have Spotify or streaming services I wouldnt have the same music taste I have now, it would either be pirated and limited to recommendations or my taste would reflect what ever I can access for free.

Also worth mentioning that Amazon Music has connections to ICE and Apple Music benefits from exploiting labour.

CDs and records pullute the planet and merch is usually made in terrible conditions. Tours pump CO2 in to the atmosphere.

There is no ethical consumption.
