And it's just not about the online part but in general customer experience needs marked improvement in banking sector.

I have accounts with all three (thanks to all the corporate jobs which led me to it). If I say purely basis digital experience: Kotak is the best of the lot
But I have another one with BoB, and it takes the first prize in ruining the experience: be it at the bank or on digital.
A recent re-kyc process for both my ICICI and BoB, needed me to visit the branch (which I think could be easily digitised - check how @zerodha validates)
ICICI's bank interaction was pleasant: well maintained hygiene in today's time, carried originals (they did the photo copy, signed & came back)

BoB: no hygiene (no sanitizer at the entrance). gave originals, they asked me to get the photocopy, no paid shop nearby as well 🤦‍♂️
Kotak's physical interaction has been also pleasant.
HDFC's has been varied. Some branches it has been good, some has been equally bad as BoB

For physical, focus on standardization of all branches, have the basic services like photocopies done there itself. That's like basic.
