2/7 I had severe chest pain, Underlying health issues: asthmatic, Lupus,9 weeks post op from maj. surgery. I didn’t want to go to

3/7 I told nurse I was +Covid & my symptoms. I asked if I shld wait outside until they were in PPE.I repeatedly told nurse I didn’t want to get them 
.maybe I shld wait it out at , what if I wasn’t “bad enough” & unnecessarily exposed them?I was wrought w/ fear & guilt..

4/7 The nurse I spoke to was #KIND & #Compassionate told me I needed to come in.She said,”That’s what *WE* are here for, we treat Covid patients.”Her words pierced

5/7 HCWs sign up for leaders of R country to *DISREGARD* our #SCIENTISTS & #HEALTHEXPERTS..To have their INTEGRITY
or have said leaders contribute 2 the *Misinformation Highway* HCWs sign on 2 use insufficient PPE or take *PAY* cuts in the middle of a #Pandemic ...

6/7 I ended up going to last pm, at the urging of the nurse. The staff at were #KIND, competent & treated me w/ respect. In the end, I needed their care.I’m #thankful the nurse was persistent. We don’t deserve all of you. .

7/7 For HCWs, I’m offering advice to ALL patients & I hope they follow suit. Please Thank a HCW, by #WearAMask
