thoughts on PS:
have a distant family member that took over fathers company in his early 30's.tried to run it but sucked, sold it in his late 30's for enough to retire. that's the dream right..well it hasn't done him any favors.he's stagnated. hasn't done anything 20+ years since
he's an unhappy person. penny pincher. always worries about appearances.
makes me think how human beings NEED to work. if you don't do any work you become a shell of a person. modern CS work is no good either though
the goal is to find enjoyable non-slave like work you can do until you're in old age. maybe you'll always be in CS but you might be better off in the end
of course this might only be available to boomers, when the American middle class could still live well. I understand the drive to reach PS with the coming brazilification of America
