I get where Felix is coming from, and it's possible that he accidentally used "equally" as a synonym for "also."
it's a high-wire act:
there are tons of people who are persuadable to fascism (vilification of others) who can be reclaimed by a leftist populist agenda (others, and YOU, deserve better).

we have to try to reach these people. what other way is there than to preach from the platforms that have radicalized the people who are just looking for tangible improvement in their lives?
not to say that they're all Economic Anxiety types. many are probably straight racists. but there are still a lot who voted for Trump because they thought that he would help out the working class. the Democrats need to work to reach them.
