is it common in the art community to think NSFW art accounts should be private?... i feel like that's a stretch?

yes this is referencing recent discourse about a popular artist, but im only asking because of some of the related comments ppl made. the person in question DID make a mistake so im not tryna say they are innocent or something.

i feel like pushing "NSFW art accounts should be private!!! what about minors" isn't it? ofc they shouldn't have minor followers but they still need to GROW their accounts

and at a certain size, im not sure NSFW artists can block/soft block ppl without age in their bios?

iunno yall. sex workers/NSFW artists/etc need to make money and grow their content too. they can't do that with private accounts.

i just hope the discourse doesn't become harassing ANYONE with a non private NSFW account as long as they properly tag their content.
