The Police Officers Bill of Rights from speaking about the previous investigation. State law, she says, doesn't allow release of any information. If the most current allegations are true, she says, it's not the behavior the city expects from its employees.

"I have dedicated half my life to law enforcement," she says, and has seen all manner of ugliness, but she won't tolerate mistreatment or misconduct of any type.

She asks for the public's support and patience while this investigation is in process. "The actions of one" don't represent the entire department.
