3/ We strongly believe @Telefilm_Canada is an instrument for Artistic Excellence and Cultural Representation, not just investment; it's not a bank, but a Cultural cornerstone. They shouldn't be servicing "clients' but working with Creative Collaborators.
4/ The only way for @Telefilm_Canada to reach its full potential is to support the specificity and uniqueness of Canadian Voice and Storytellers from all regions. Diversity will not "hamper" our films the way this article inaccurately suggests, it will strengthen and enhance it.
5/ Some telling quotes from the NP article: “There’s this notion that we’re in this very exclusive club and we want to protect our interests, but that’s not the case at all,” said Niv Fichman, producer of The Red Violin... “It was a hard-earned privilege.”

Checked @Telefilm_Canada website. It's not "just" an investment agency. Telefilm's mandate: "To foster and promote the development of the audiovisual industry in Canada"
