like a transhet will never be able to perpetuate homophobia and transphobia in the same way that a cis gay can. this is because homophobia stems from cishets feeling like their straightness is being threatened. and they only feel this way because their cis
transhets don't feel as if their gender/masculinity/straightness is being threatened by gay people because cis privilege has never allowed transhets to hold any sort of power over cis gays
marriage equality and laws protecting gay people still affect transhets, maybe even more harshly because it's also a mix of homophobia and transphobia
transhets don't feel as if they're being threatened by gay people. but cishets do, one reason why cishet men are often homophobic is because they're scared of being objectified by a gay man the same way that they objectify cis women
this does not happen for straight trans men because they don't have the power of being cis to weaponize their heterosexuality in the same way that cishets do
--this is also a good way to explain lesbian terfs. they're not transphobic because they're lesbians, they just weaponize their lesbianism to attack trans people, like saying that they'd never date a trans woman because they're a man, they only have the power to do that
because they're cis. it's the same thing for cishets
homophobia has never been rooted in straightness being more privileged than queerness (the two are also not mutually exclusive) the reason it's like that is because cishets using their power as cis people to weaponize their straightness against gay people
