@NYC_DOT is starting the Community vision session for #34AveOpenStreets

Nicole Garcia: "34th Ave has been the sterling example of what an open street could look like" Thanks @Dromm25 @jessicaramos Volunteers "Most importantly thanks to the people that use the street."
Garcia of @nycdot speaking of the pride that DOT feels especially the Queens team, that 34th Ave is running so well, says: "This is the first step of a dialogue that we are going to have on how we can improve that." #34AveOpenStreets
Here to get feedback... to talk about tools in the @NYC_DOT toolkit for improving 34th Ave and making it run more smoothly.
Garcia:
"iterative process, it's a conversation, we are opening the floor to all ideas, want to make sure that we are respectful and get some good ideas"
@NYC_DOT explaining the live translation services: Spanish, Nepali, Tibetan, Hindi, Islam

DOT says they will work to add languages to future sessions (Mandarin and Cantonese comes to mind.)
