He’s been drafted to a perfect situation in Atlanta where he’s able to get real minutes for a playoff team whilst also being able to learn from Capela another great big man.
In high school he averaged 27 Pts 11 rebounds and 4 blocks playing for the Chino Hills side which included LaMelo Ball another top prospect from this draft. He won 2 Mr California’s in this time too
He continued this form into college where he immediately impressed for USC and was their best player. He made the PAC12 all-freshman team before the Pac 12 and NCAA tournaments were cancelled due to COVID-19
His skillset will enable him to be one of the best 2 way bigs in the league with his impressive defense as well as his brilliant inside scoring alongside a decent mid range game which allows him to be a stretch 4-5 for the hawks.
