Since then, Pompeo has seemingly used his office to further President Trump’s and his own political prospects. Pompeo has undertaken media-centric trips to his home state, fueling speculation about a future Senate run. 3/

We obtained emails Pompeo sent using a personal account while CIA director, raising serious questions about the preservation of official records. Our work is far from done. We still want to know if Pompeo urged Trump to fire State Department Inspector General Steve Linick because Linick was investigating Pompeo or his close aides.
