There is a scene in the show Mad Men that stuck with me.
In a sales pitch, Don Draper and his team are getting pushback from a client. After various failed attempts by his team to convince the client, Draper stands up and calls a close to the meeting.
The client is shocked.

Draper goes onto say: You're a nonbeliever. I don't have time for kabuki.
The client is confused.
Draper explains how the client is asking for advice and ignoring everything that is being suggested to them.

He also says: I'm not here to tell you about Jesus. He either lives in your heart or he doesn't.
The client tells Draper to sit down.
Draper: No. Not until you let me know that I'm not wasting my time.

Sometimes you just have to walk away.
