I can barely believe it’s been 20 years to the day since the @BelfastGiants first hit home ice.

The game gripped me from the second I walked into the Odyssey Arena. The skill, the speed, the physicality, the match night experience - everything about it.

(2) -so many amazing players over the past 20 years have worn the Teal jersey, too many to mention, but a few deserve recognition.

Jason Ruff is the best to ever wear the jersey. He had it all. Skill, toughness, scored goals for fun.

Should have played more games in the NHL.

(3) - You can’t talk about 20 years of the Belfast Giants & not mention @TheoFleury14’s contribution to the Organisation.

A Stanley Cup Champion & Olympic Gold medalist - playing for the Belfast Giants. His impact was incredible. A pleasure to watch, night in night out.

(4)Then there’s this guy. Mr Belfast, Paxton Schulte.

He laid the foundations back in 2000 for what being a Belfast Giant was all about. Play for the badge on the front. A strong sense of community.

The only player that’s ever gotten close to him is Adam Keefe,another legend.

(5) 20 years of amazing memories, meeting some of the best people you could ever wish to meet, both players & fans alike..

And to think when it all started, the media said it’ll never last in Belfast. How wrong they were.
