It seems clear our provincial and federal governments have failed to find a way to work together on this file. Meanwhile, Alberta’s front line workers lose. At what point do we need to find a different model of program delivery, one that doesn’t disadvantage ordinary Albertans?
And yes. I know the federal government cannot trespass into provincial jurisdiction. But it isn’t fair to leave Albertans dangling without supports, just because our two levels of government can’t seem to get along. #ableg #abpoli #cdnpoli #SenCA
Worth repeating? Every other province and territory has managed to find a way to access these funds. Even those with conservative premiers. Alberta is absolutely the outlier.
