#Chargers QB Justin Herbert had his lowest @PFF passing grade vs Brian Flores's #Dolphins defense. Here's what Flo did:

First, cover-three + disguise. Don't give away the coverage pre-snap, bail out of the blitz look, and Herbert throws into Howard's leverage for an INT.
Second, zero blitz. Herbert has graded out well vs the blitz this year, but Flores was able to hurry him into some errant throws. #Chargers did a decent job of picking this up, but Herbert knows he needs to get the ball out quickly, and sails it over an open Keenan Allen's head.
Third, cover-1 double no. 13 (Allen). #Dolphins show blitz, but the safety bails out and brackets Allen to Herbert's right. The creepers get 1v1 for the pass-rushers, and they get home to force a bad throw to Henry. Fine decision by Herbert, just too much pressure.
Lastly, cover-two. Another good decision by Herbert to read the under/corner side against two-high. But the CB at the bottom of the screen plays a perfect "sail" technique and is able to squeeze Henry's route enough with the half-field safety to make this throw difficult.
I'll go into more detail in my game plan on Friday, but it's often easy to predict what BB will do when the #Patriots play an offense that also played the #Dolphins. BB used a very similar plan against Kyler as Flores did too.
Watching the creeper/amoeba fronts makes me miss Flores so much. Dude can coach.
