One of the fun responsibilities of being the release lead is coming up with a logo...mascot...theme...picture..whatever. It's very important and gave me much, much joy. Let's look back at some earlier releases and remember....
I first volunteered to shadow a Kubernetes release on 1.12!!

I got to interact with @pythomit and @stephenaugustus and got to learn about bug triage from @guincodes! And got to work with @ameukam and Niko
Work/life changes, I didn't come back until 1.17 and got to again work with the fabulous @guincodes and got to learn about Enhancements from @MrBobbyTables along side @antheajung @theonlynabarun and @kristincmartin (all of whom rocked 1.20 btw. This time...the chillest release!
Next up, I was honored to lead enhancements for 1.18! It was...a bit quarky. Shout out to the great @alejandrox135 and my dope shadows @theonlynabarun @johnbelamaric @beepboopclick and @helayoty
WOW! Now @onlydole has chosen me to shadow RT Lead with the dope @MrBobbyTables. 2020 is a tire fire, but we persist. And run a marathon release. This one actually meant a lot to me because my dad died right at the end of 1.18 and Animal Crossing was sort of my coping mechanism.
BUT!!!

There were a bunch of other releases that inspired me. ONE OF THE GREATEST TWITTER JOKES TURNED REAL BY MY FRIENDS @flynnduism and @LachlanEvenson (who has been a trusted advisor for me during 1.20!!)

When you're here....you're family. #breadsticks
Also, look at how magnificent this one from @spiffxp was...it might just be the greatest kubernetes shirt of all time.
We also have the game of Kubernetes,t his is great and true ..we also released late in 1.19!!. Shout out to Claire, I don't know her twitter handle if she has one.
And of course, another one I love, care of @fuzzychef
