Y'all I have a suggestion & it might sound stupid at first, but, I'd like y'all to hear me out. We need to take back state and local govts for dems. Virtually everywhere, but, especially in red states. What we need most if an army if folks willing to run for office & lose.

Hear me out though! For example, Missouri has a mostly republican senate & house. In many districts dems don't even run. Which I find irritating. I get not wanting to invest in a race you are going to lose, but, we need to do this. Seriously.

Why? Well, our ideas can't circulate in those districts, our messages don't get any attention there because we hardly ever run. I'd almost guarantee we'd lose the 1st time. But, if we take it seriously w/ the secondary goal of getting folks to listen, we win eventually.

So, the 1st person who runs loses. But, in the process, if they do it right, they've talked to hundreds, maybe thousands of folks about how our policies will help them. We get our message out there.

Which will make it easier for the next person who tries, and we will need them to try again. It's important. If we commit to this strategy, we have to stick to it. We run for everything. Dog catcher, sherrif, fucking board of ed. Whatever. Just run. And run.

The best way to get folks to believe something is to hammer it home. Repeat it again and again. Seriously, it works. That's literally how the republicans took over Missouri.
