Continues to stagger that most US media is so indifferent to (if not supportive of) US's attempted extradition & prosecution of Assange even though it's by far the biggest threat to their press freedom in years, all because he's not one of them & published docs that hurt Dems.
One could say it's bizarre that US media figures hate Assange to the point of being fine with his imprisonment *despite* how many huge stories he broke -- more than they will in 10 lifetimes -- but it's more accurate to say they hate him precisely *because* of that.
The more big stories you break outside of the confines of corporate US media structures, the more their hatred increases -- especially when your reporting harms Dems.
But in this case, they're fine with it even though it endangers them most. That's how petty they are.

Just don't tweet anything mean about Chuck Todd or Wolf Blitzer. That's what gets them really agitated.
But a prosecution that, if successful, would set a precedent that *criminalizes journalism*? Go ahead: it's against someone we hate. https://www.salon.com/2010/12/24/wikileaks_23/

2 questions for Biden:
1) In 2013, Obama DOJ decided they couldn't prosecute Assange without destroying press freedom. Will you stop this prosecution?
2) Will you pardon Reality Winner? https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/julian-assange-unlikely-to-face-us-charges-over-publishing-classified-documents/2013/11/25/dd27decc-55f1-11e3-8304-caf30787c0a9_story.html

My strong guess is a Biden DOJ will absolutely continue -- probably escalate -- the attempt to prosecute Assange, even though Obama DOJ said it couldn't be done without destroying press freedoms.
What changed? In 2016, WikiLeaks published docs showing DNC corruption. That's it.
