Do you lot want to hear something ridiculous? On #TheSocial a chat show in Canada, they were discussing #TheCrown and whether it should come with a warning. Sigh.

Anyway, as the discussion was carried on they went on about how people need to see it as fiction and how it will
hurt the monarchy if people believe everything that's fed to them- I am paraphrasing by the way. They went on about how the monarchy is precious and needs to be coddled (my interpretation) nevermind this is the same show that takes tabloid gossip as gospel and have spoken
negatively about Meghan. Oh it should be mentioned as soon as one of them comes under scrutiny you better believe the "why me???" self pity party starts up.

They then went on to say, I think it was @LaineyGossip how the good bit about the queen and her sanctions against SA was
pivotal or some shit. And I'm like- so you know how much it hurt the people of SA vs government??? And did you study any type of world history specifically South African history? Did you listen to the voiceless? You're really applauding a woman for further abusing citizens
in their own country. But I digress. The point of this post is, when they call for disclaimers then you can't pick and choose what you want it on. If you have no issue repeating tabloid lies and gossip, continue to be racist thinking we don't see through it, and select where
censorship you are the problem. Gen Z has done their research they are beyond media savvy, they spent their lives learning media literacy. Just because you eat everything that is fed to you and choose not to believe facts, doesn't mean everyone else is.

This includes selecting
what is considered human rights vs being too political.

The problem with the monarchy is there are dissenting voices. These voices come with facts attached to their claims. Royals don't want to look into the mirror that is being held in front of them they need to change.
When the likes of Jack Brooksbank and Edo (last name idk) can slip into the family without a flood of abuse yet an accomplished woman and multi-millionaire who is biracial marries in to support her husband is dragged through the mud for no reason under the monarchy's watch- the
problem lies with the monarchy.

When this part of the story is told (it's being told through Diana we all see it) I don't want to hear anyone say #fiction. The gaslighting won't work. Best to stop now.
