So if this is the criteria we’re gonna use (which, ok?) here are the top eight of the latest CFP rankings with number of wins against current top 25 teams.
And here is the total number of remaining scheduled games between top eight teams and opponents currently in the top 25.
Not that the schedule should matter!

The award goes to the best player in college football. Not the best player in a power 5.

Although it’s pretty clear that that’s what the award ACTUALLY is.
And you’re telling me THIS schedule is markedly better than what Tulsa has played?!?
