The Farmers Protests are basically a tool for every anti-Modi individual or group to stay relevant. Honestly, after one electoral ass whopping after another, the left in India is willing to cling to anything to stay relevant. I do not blame them, after all everyone needs a job.
Just think about it, how does the left stay relevant in society? It feeds off a confrontation with the establishment. That is the essence of leftism. That is all they do, right or wrong they are the eternal hammer finding a nail.
So we had the CAA/NRC being passed. Yes, there were protests, yes we had a riot. But did the law go away? It did not FYI. The agricultural reforms might get tweaked here or there at most. But these reforms are here to stay. You know why? Because they are popular with many people.
The government has to manage the protests in whichever sensible way possible. If they do not block roads, and life moves on as normal hey what the hell let the "farmers" aka middlemen stay in Delhi forever. Who cares????
If the protestors get violent and disruptive then the GOI has to use force and disburse the crowds. What is this backlash going to be? Justin Trudeau will not do bhangra when he comes to India? NYT will write another op-ed? I mean who cares!!!!
On the point of GOI communicating, stop pedaling this BS argument. The government has communicated. You have had multiple interviews given by BJP ministers in regional languages. You think the GOI will explain once more & these folks will go away? Really! you are that silly?
The moment you heard the argument about GOI taking your land away and the stupid demand of MSP for everything you knew this protest is not genuine. This political posturing of the worst kind. And what we need to observe is how far are they willing to go.
The CAA/NRC exposed us to the underbelly of Islamism. Good for us, we know all the new Islamist idiots. The Farmers Protests will expose us to the Khalistani sleeper cells. Another gain if you ask me. Let the people of India know what happens here.
I am not suggesting the Farmers Protests are strictly Khalistani. All I am saying is that many people do not about this and now thanks to these irrelevant leftists we know about all these things. Many young kids will now learn about the real Breaking India Forces.
