Propaganda 2- Government is trying to kill Mandis.

Fact - Government is empowering Mandis by Digitizing all of the "thek" and creating a Digital National Agriculture Market known as E-NAM,

If government wanted to kill Mandis why would Government spent crores and crores of money empowering Mandis? Not only that Government is creating world class infrastructure like warehouses and cold storage with international standard to support Mandis across Bharat.

Propaganda 3 - Farmers cannot sue Trader if Contract not fulfilled

Fact - this Farm Bill actually empower farmers to sue traders, there are already many examples and even PM shared such examples in his Man Ki Baat.

Earlier there was no such protection to farmer. We never heard of any cases where farmer sues trader in past but after this Bill was introduced many farmers got right to lawsuit, you can easily find many articles on Google on how farmers are now empowered in India.

Propaganda 4 - Contract Farming is a tool given to corporate to capture Farmers land

Fact - Contract Farming law clearly mentions Contract over Harvest (Crop Produce) and it clearly strictly prohibits any Contract of Land.

Propaganda 5 (Most widely circulated) - Why MSP is not under Law ?

Fact - MSP was never under law (even before this BILL) and can never be under law because it is "Support Price". Which means government cannot control Price as it is Market Driven.

It is like saying to someone that I manufacture toys and I want government to bring law to fix Price of Toys as Rs 50. This can never be ever possible.

Every cost is market driven but just to save Farmers from Market Competition, government use the concept of MSP.

MSP is very dynamic and changes in every budget, For example PM Modi since 2014 already increased MSP 2.5 times which is against WTO Rule and for that USA and Canada many times filed case against Bharat in WTO.

Justin Trudeau himself complained about Bharat increasing MSP.

Propaganda - This bill will kill farmers and make them poor.

Fact - This Bill actually empowers farmers and you can see actual facts on procurement and sales of harvest, you will find that farmers have witnessed huge increase in farm sale and income Post Farm Bills.

Now farmers are getting more money and they are free to sell their Produce to anyone in any state they want.

Past Mandi Route is also open, if any farmer wants to opt to sell produce to Mandi, they can do so.
