After progressing through junior karting ranks on a national, continental and international level, Mick secures a place in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship for the 2015 season.

With five wins in each series, Mick finishes second in both the 2016 ADAC Formula 4 and Italian Formula 4 Championships, graduating to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship for 2017.

Taking eight race wins, including an incredible five in a row, Mick clinches the 2018 FIA Formula 3 European Championship.

In April 2019, Mick drives a modern Formula 1 car for the first time, taking the wheel of the Ferrari SF90 during a mid-season test in Bahrain.

In August of the same year, Schumacher claims his first win in Formula 2 with victory in the Sprint Race at the Hungaroring.

After a consistent start to 2020, including six podiums in the space of ten races, Mick earns his first race win of the season in Monza.

More recently, Schumacher earned another double-podium in Sochi, including a victory in the Feature Race.
