New Census Household Pulse dropped this AM.

Top line #foodinsecurity rate edged up again this round and is up to 23% of respondents overall, and 30% of those with kids.
The narrow measure of "hunger" -- sometimes or often not enough to eat -- stayed flat from the first weeks of November.

This implies that 26 million adults aren't getting enough to eat in the last week.
Food insecurity is up more for Whites than Blacks or Hispanic/Latinos this round, but Blacks and Hispanic/Latinos have much higher rates.

Here's hunger (sometimes/often not enough to eat) for respondents w/kids, by race/ethnicity. Who says they don't have enough to eat? 12% of Whites. 1 in 4 Blacks. Over 1 in 5 Hispanics.

Too many people.

Please, Congress, get a new relief package passed!!! ASAP!
