/ Mini vaccine thread.
Anti-vaxxers are anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists are going to conspiracy theorise. We know that. But there are an awful lot of "normal" people who are simply nervous about the vaccine because of the speed of the roll-out and long-term safety.

/ I've heard variations of: "they did this in 10 months, not 10 years, how do I know it won't be like thalidomide?" and "I refuse to be a guinea pig - but you go ahead, idiot!". I haven't heard the experts answer those people satisfactorily so far, and that's worrying./
/ Just saying "we didn't cut any corners" isn't enough, imo. Scientists & govt should focus on these 'reticent vaxxers' - provide more info and clear messages about long-term #vaccine safety. Comparisons. Data. Put it all out there. And then repeat those messages over and over./
/ 'Reticent vaxxers' are not your classic loons waving placards ranting about 5G. They are ordinary people who just don't want to go anywhere near this vaccine for several years. I really think that convincing them is @MattHancock & @nadhimzahawi's biggest problem now./
